Teaching Partner (Fixed Term until July 2025)

Temple Grove are looking to add to our team! We are looking to appoint a highly motivated teaching partner on a full-time, term time only including INSET days (39 weeks). Initially the contract is until 18 July 2025 but there maybe the possibility to extend in the future.

The main focus of the role is to provide support to pupils. Your responsibilities may include supporting children in achieving the lesson objective, leading 1:1 and group intervention programmes, feeding back to the class teacher, maintaining records of progress and behaviour, working with children to support any social, emotional, behavioural, personal care or medical needs and liaising with parents and external professionals. To start with, the role will be based in our EYFS reception class but you maybe required to support in other classes as required.

The successful candidate will:

• Have good numeracy and literacy skills
• Be able to model excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Have a good understanding of how children learn
• Be flexible and able to adapt to the needs of the children
• Be committed to raising standards.
• Be able to liaise closely with teachers, support staff, parents and the wider community
• Have an Early Years Qualification (desirable but not essential)
