Governors

Professor Sarah Stallebrass was educated at the City of London School for Girls and St John’s College Cambridge.  She is Professor of Soil Mechanics at City, University of London and current Head of the Department of Civil Engineering.  She carries out research and teaching related to geotechnical engineering, which is the study of structures in and on the ground such as tunnels, deep excavations and foundations for buildings.  She is a liveryman of The Skinners’ Company.
